First, let me start of by saying that I loved the detail and the look of the helmet, lets be honest.. its pretty bad ass.The fit of the helmet is also amazing. My husband ordered my a medium and it fit like a glove. The only complaint is that after 3 days of light wear in that I only ride my bike to blockbusters a few days a weeks I noticed what looked to be a crack in the paint. However, after closer examination the crack is actually the decal cracking. Needless to say I was a little disappointed for 1 the fact that it was a decal and not actually painted on and 2 the fact that it cracked so easily. Even with that small glitch this helmet was a great buy and I plan on enjoying it until the decal begins to look bad. This helmet is absolutely great I've been using it constantly when I ride my KTM Duke 690 for the past 2 weeks. It has a ton of padding inside and fits a little more snug than other mediums I've worn but the fit is great actually a little better for me. It is very comfortable inside due to all the padding. The vents at the chin and top of the helmet work great, the cover/valve for the top vent is pretty flimsy and can pop out of place when opening the vent but it pops right back in very easily and does not move or come out when it is completely closed or open. The artwork and designs on the helmet are very nice and cool, however they are decals that have been put on and sealed in with an external layer, on mine the spine going up the back of the helmet is a little crooked but I don't mind it its actually kind a cool. I'm not a small person (6' 175lbs) and I ordered a medium. It fits like a glove; the padding is thick, but still very comfortable. It has great ventilation for summer, but if you get a little cold, close the vents and your good to go. Oh, and it looks wicked too, I get almost as many compliments on my helmet as I get on my bike. |
